Cleanings / Extractions
Does your
pet have bad breath? It could be dental disease. Not only is it a
problem for the mouth, causing loss of teeth, tarter and gingivitis, but
can also affect other organs like the heart, kidneys, and liver. Studies
have shown that 80% to 85% of dogs and cats over the age of two years
have gingivitis or periodontal disease. Keeping your pet's mouth clean
helps to keep them healthy.
Regular
dental cleaning and polishing is recommended. Our dental suite includes
advanced instrumentation for preventative routing cleanings as well as
special procedures such as tooth extractions.
Once
clean, we can help with suggestions on ways to keep it that way. We now
have a vaccine and other products to keep your pet's mouth healthy.
