Angie is a graduate of Bowling Green State University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Biology. She joined the Total Pet Care team as a boarding caregiver in 2018. When not at TPC she is working at a wildlife rehabilitation center caring for injured and orphaned wildlife. During her free time she enjoys playing Taiko and spending time at home with her family.

Dr. Lopez grew up in the Point Place area of Toledo, Ohio. She knew from the time she was in elementary school that she wanted to be a veterinarian. She attended Bowling Green State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1990. Dr. Lopez received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 1994.Dr. Lopez has worked in the Toledo area since 1994. She has three children and a whole house-full of animals; including a dog, three cats, two ferrets, three turtles, two geckos, a bearded dragon, and two hermit crabs. Her areas of practice are limited to dogs and cats. 

Karlee joined our team in June of 2015. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Stautzenberger College in 2018 and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in the Spring of 2019. She enjoys helping animals and being able to educate owners about their pets. Her furry family at home consists of two Boxers named Tyriah and Cooper and a Bichon Frise named Babette. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.

Caitlyn joined our team in January of 2018. She grew up in MI and graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in Criminal Justice. She has been working with animals for 5 years. When not at work she loves spending time with her three dogs, Batman, Phoenix and Sammy. 

Ellie joined Total Pet Care in 2014 with our boarding team. She is now our boarding and customer service team leader. Ellie is a graduate of BGSU and resides in Bowling Green with her fiancé and two fluffy felines, Thanos and Gamora. She loves getting to know our clients and the pets that she cares for.

Marcie joined our team in 2012 as a CSR and moved to supervisory and coordinator roles. She brings over 16 years of Customer Service and Management experience from her previous job at Hickory Farms Headquarters. Her love of animals come from growing up on a small farm in Swanton with Chickens, Cows, Pigs, Rabbits, goats, cats and dogs. Her true love are dogs and is especially fond of Boxers, Frenchies, and Bulldogs. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and of course her two boxers Prince and Xena.



Rachel Avery, RVT, Clinical Supervisor, joined our team in 2012. She prides herself on being  certified in Canine and Feline CPR & First Aid and Fear Free Level II. She and her husband have 2 beloved senior herding dogs, Roxy and Pixie; 4 cats, Cleopatra, Noodles, Cash, and Watson; and 8 chickens. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, hiking, camping, kayaking, gardening, reading, and enjoying the arts.

Brittany is a graduate of the University of Toledo and has been a part of the Total Pet Care family since 2011. Now only part-time, she is also employed with Teamsters Local 20. Brittany is active in the rowing community, acting as a Trustee on the Board of Toledo Rowing Club. She also loves Zumba, walking her large dog Riker, and volunteering in her community.

Josie is a boarding care giver who lives in Maumee with her 3 dogs and a rabbit. She is a 2018 graduate of Maumee High School and small animal care from the Penta career center

Elizabeth is a graduate of The Vet Tech Institute of International Business College. She joined Total Pet Care in 2016. When not at work, she enjoys doing Community Theater, arts & crafts and spending time with her fiancée and their family and friends.

Katie has been with Total Pet Care since 2012. She started in boarding, then client service representative and finally she became a registered veterinary technician in 2016. She prides herself on being Fear Free Level II certified, Canine and Feline CPR and first aid certified. Her special interest in the field are: surgery and anesthesia, client education and practicing fear free techniques. She has one dog named Butters, and three cats; Jazz, Luna and Teddy. She enjoys spending time with her animals, friends and family. 

Jackie has been with Total Pet Care for 8 years. She grew up in Louisville, KY and has been an animal lover her whole life. She has had everything from frogs, mice, birds, horses and cattle for pets. Her favorite animals are dogs, but they run a close second to horses. She has a wonderful son named Luke that shares the same love for animals.

Rachel Frye

Boarding Caregiver

Dr. Rosario is a 1995 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He also completed a residency program at OSU where he earned his PhD in Anatomic Pathology. He divides his time between practices in Findlay, Maumee, and Clyde. His main interests are small animal surgery and orthopedics. He is a member of the Toledo Veterinary Medical Association and the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association. He spends his leisure time playing the guitar.

Heather has been working in the pet industry for 13 years and joined TPC in 2012. She has a passion for grooming and making pets look and feel their best while focusing on a fear-free experience. At home she loves spending time with her husband and fur babies.

Chey joined our team in November of 2017.   Chey started as a child visiting her grandmother’s farm. When she was old enough her family bought her first dog and she joined a 4H club to learn more about dogs and training. As time went on her love for animals has only grown stronger. She now has a German Shepherd, named Aurroa, who has become my best friend when it comes to any training. Chey and Aurora have dabbled into some agility for fun and Rally together. She graduated from her canine good citizens class and has a novice trick dog title. Recently, Aurora has been herding sheep with my husband! Chey has two other dogs, another German Shepherd and a dachshund. They are full time professional cuddlers. On her time off, Chey enjoys being at the barn and riding horses. Needless to say- animals have always been a huge part of her life and she’s glad to be able to help animals and their owners everyday at work.

Rachel is a High school graduate from Roger's high school, and the natural science technology center for small animal management / grooming. She started with Total Pet Care in May of 2015. Enjoys time with friends, playing video games with her boyfriend, updating her cats Instagram, and watching crime solving TV shows. 

Dr. Carlisle is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine then completed a 1 year internship at Aloha Pet and Bird Hospital in Melbourne Florida. She joined the Total Pet Care family in summer of 2019. Today, Dr. Carlisle is thrilled to be working with the wonderful staff at Total Pet Care and be much closer to her family. Her areas of interest include educating clients concerning their new pet, preventative care, and exotic animal medicine.  She resides with her two dogs, both cavalier king charles spaniels, named Blitzen and Rory. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, kayaking, playing soccer, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Pisle is a graduate of The Ohio State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the Total Pet Care Family part time in March of 2012 and became a full-time associate in August 2012. She lives in Toledo with her husband, two cats, and dachshund. As of November of 2015 Dr Pisle and her husband welcomed Vivian, their first child. When not at work, Dr. Pisle is normally working in her garden, on a crafting project, or practicing violin or bass clarinet. Prior to vet school Dr. Pisle attended UMBC (University of Maryland Baltimore County) where she recieved her B.S. in Biology and minors in Creative Writing and History. Before joining Total Pet Care, Dr. Pisle worked in small animal emergency medicine. Her veterinary interests include behavior and cytology.

Audrey has been with Total Pet care since November of 2014. In her spare time she is usually playing video games, listening to music, and spending time with her friends.

Christie is a 2014 graduate from Stautzenberger college. She has worked at Total Pet Care since 2014 and now also works at MedVet Toledo in the Emergency department. She has 3 fur babies at home: June, Henry and Kitty, and one son named Rayland. She has a particular love for Golden Retrievers and pretty much any floppy eared hound breed.
